About This Website

Welcome to Jane's F/A-18 Resource v2!

This site is dedicated to Haco, who has been a forerunner in creating realistic textures for the various objects in the simulation. Sadly, he passed away just one month after being hospitalized in October 2003. His legacy continues through his templates that many other artist use.

Many files are hosted here that should make your flying experience fun, and eye appealing for a 11 year old simulation. Like myself, many artist have put their time and effort in bringing you these items for download and/or reading.

I spent the whole year of 2011 creating, organizing, taking new screenshots, and digging through webpages for you enthusiests. Why you ask? I did it for you, in hopes this simulation stays alive as Team Super Hornet updates it. This site will remain in service for as long as I seem fit.

As part of the organization, I have renamed files to make local storage searching easier. Names and descriptions are separated by underscores and hyphens. If needed, at the end of the file name will be a 'HR' for High Resolution or an 'LR' for Low Resolution. This is so that legacy computer users will know what will work with their graphics card.

    Example: Artis-Name_Object-Modified_Description_Version_HR.zip
    In-Example: Haco_FA18E_High-Mold-Clean_v4-1_HR.zip

Images on this site are named exactly the same, but with a '_s' at the end. Larger JPG or GIF images are available in the ZIP files. Be careful when viewing the GIF images. All GIFs are animated, so use a suitable image viewer.

As of December 31, 2011 there are 5.08 Gigabytes worth of downloads!
